Heritage tour to Pushkar
Pushkar is a fantastic fusion history and mythology that makes it worth the travel. According to an oft-quoted legend, Lord Brahma was in search of auspicious place to perform yagna and was flying over the Rajasthan desert on his swan. Some Lotus petals fell from his hand and wafted down. Miraculously, blue lakes sprang up where the flowers touched land. A land sprang up at Pushkar, and that is how the scenic holy lack came into being. A dip in the lake is supposed to give you and seven generations in your family, that ultimate salvation that pilgrims traveling from world over are seeking. That’s Pushkar-the ultimate pilgrimage-for you!
Rajasthan epitomizes all that dreams are made of. Think architectural monuments built with studied detail, handicrafts and glittering gems and you think of Rajasthan. Talk of picture perfect lakes, shimmering golden deserts, wild life sanctuaries, throbbing towns, cattle fairs or pulsating festivities, effervescent colours, touching hospitality and you think of Rajasthan.

Arts and Crafts Rajasthan
Rajasthan is among the richest states in the country as far as the field of arts and crafts is concerned. May be it was a result of the war-like lifestyle of the people of Rajasthan which sharpened the creative senses, artistic skills and inspires them to create the most opulent and richest of treasures stone, clay, leather, wood, ivory, lac, glass , brass, silver, gold and textiles were given the most brilliant forms.
Art flourished in this region as far back as 2nd-1st centuries BC and continued over the centuries. In Baroli, in the Hadoti region, presence of several sculptures proves that a regular art school existed in the 10th century. The cave paintings, terracotta and other stone sculptures excavated at different site corroborate this. Each period of history saw its own contribution to the thriving art scene. History of Rajastha reveals that thr kings and their nobles were patrons of arts and crafts and they encouraged their craftsmen in activities ranging from wood and marble carving to weaving, pottery and painting. and ary seems to have been an obsession with the inhabitants of this parched landscape.
